Frequently asked questions

How exactly does the 30-minute timer work?

The moment an address is generated it's valid for exactly 30 minutes. Mail sent to it appears in the inbox right away. Once the countdown reaches zero, the address is disabled and everything sent to it is permanently deleted.

Can I recover emails after the address expires?

No. Once an inbox expires there's no backup or recovery. If you need to keep something, copy it before the timer runs out.

Can I send emails from my temporary address?

Temp Mailer is receive-only. Sending or forwarding isn't supported — this keeps the domains from being used for spam and keeps delivery reliable from major platforms.

Do I need to refresh to see new messages?

No. The inbox checks for new mail in the background every few seconds, and new messages appear automatically.

Is Temp Mailer really anonymous?

Yes. Generating an address doesn't require a name, phone number, or account, and addresses aren't linked back to any personal identity.

Is it completely free?

Yes — 100% free, forever. There's no premium tier, no credit card, and no hidden fees.

Will sites detect that my address is temporary?

Some services keep blocklists of disposable domains. Domains here rotate regularly to minimise that, but for anything you plan to use long-term, use your real email instead.
